Visa Guidelines

If you plan to visit Canada for a certain period of time and depending on where you live and the reason for your visit, you will need to meet certain entry requirements which can include a Temporary Resident Visa.

Applying for your Temporary Resident Visa must be done through Citizenship and Immigration Canada at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/index.asp and can take up to four to five weeks for issuance. Please note that a Temporary Resident Visa is not issued by the GeoWeb Conference organizers. A fully paid and registered attendee may request the GeoWeb Conference organizers to provide an official invitation letter to support the Visa application. In following the Canadian laws, GeoWeb 2008 is only able to provide invitation letters to registered attendees of GeoWeb 2008 and will not provide letters to anyone else.

In order for the organizers to produce an invitation letter, the following information must be provided and all fields must be completed otherwise no letter will be produced.
